Together with the Naz Legacy Foundation we’ve created a programme of virtual TED-style talks by inspirational women. These trailblazers have faced prejudice, abuse, misogyny, mental illness and challenged discrimination throughout their careers.
Whilst these webinars are aimed at young girls across the world, everyone will be able to register via the Zoom link. Due to safeguarding, schools will be asked to register and share the link with their students and the video and audio option will be disabled for young students, but they will be able to ask questions through the Q&A feature.
The Foundations have invited women who have faced prejudice, abuse, misogyny, mental illness and challenged discrimination throughout their careers. Some of the sectors we would look to work with are:
The two Foundations have reached out to charities and organisations to get them involved in this work. We hope that through this programme, we are able to create a BAME led network of women working to raise the aspirations of girls from disadvantaged communities and amplify their voices.
Our friendly team of staff and volunteers are on hand to offer support and advice when you need it. Drop us a line explaining how you’d like us to help and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
